Tuesday, June 27 | 12pm - 1pmTechnology in Transit is a monthly event organized by the Learning Design & Digital Innovation (LDDI) unit to showcase various learning technologies to students in the Faculty of Education. The purpose of this one-hour session is to raise awareness of different technologies and to show how to incorporate them into classrooms. In this session, we will explore H5P (HTML5 Package) --- a free and open-source platform for creating, sharing, and reusing interactive content. Easy-to-use yet exceptionally versatile, H5P empowers educators to transform passive content into dynamic learning experiences that foster student comprehension and engagement. It allows students to annotate PDFs and websites, share comments and reply to peer's comments. The interactivity can help readings become more active and social.
