AI Corner: Bi-weekly Generative AI Conversation
Every 2nd and 4th Monday, starting September 25 | 12pm - 1pm
Whether you have burning questions about Generative AI or wish to explore specific tools, come and join us. In addition to addressing your inquiries, we will also provide updates and showcase popular Generative AI tools. Together we will deepen our understanding of the technology's potential, its impact on teaching and learning, and emerging practices.
This series is primarily for faculty members.

ComPAIR for Teaching and Learning

In this session we will explore ComPAIR, a peer review tool that adds comparing to the process of students reviewing one another’s work. We will show the platform's components, overall functionality, and unique affordances for teaching and learning.

Turnitin for Teaching and Learning
Wednesday, October 18 | 12pm - 1pm
Join us in exploring and discussing Turnitin, a plagiarism-checking tool with more functionality that you might expect. Learn about how it works, how you can use it in the classroom, and discuss educative approaches to using Turnitin with students.
This workshop covers:
• overview of Turnitin
• affordances and issues
• demonstration of Turnitin’s different functions
• suggested approaches for implementation
