October – November 2025Providing feedback is one of the most powerful ways instructors can support student learning, but written comments alone can sometimes feel impersonal or unclear. In this workshop, we’ll explore how video and audio tools can help educators create feedback that feels more human, supportive and engaging. We will examine the pedagogical benefits of multimedia feedback, including increased presence, clarity and connection. Practical demonstrations will highlight how to use built-in features in Canvas as well as external tools like Camtasia to record, share and organize feedback efficiently. The session will conclude with a hands-on activity where participants will practice creating their own video or audio feedback.
