Alternative Assessments

In this workshop, we will dive into alternative assessment practices that can be used in both online and face-to-face classrooms. We will introduce alternatives to traditional assessment tasks, while taking into account Universal Design for Learning principles, equity, diversity and inclusion, multi-modality, and the impact of generative AI.
This workshop will cover:
•Aligning assessments with learning outcomes
•Leveraging technology for alternative assessment
•Incorporating alternative assessments to support Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
•Practical ideas for your classroom
