Description
The Cactchbox microphone is typically used in Scarfe 100 as a fun, soft, throwable microphone.
Tips
- Have someone from AV(Toby) check the lecture hall’s projector room to ensure that the Catchbox is being received by the microphone receiver. (The catchbox should be received under Microphone 1)
- You can take out the microphone from the catchbox by firmly holding onto the protruding circle while twisting and lifting it out.
- You can switch on the microphone by moving the switch to 1, you can turn it off by moving the switch to 0.
- Refrain from turning on the Catchbox unless you are in Scarfe 100 because there have been instances of the Catchbox being received in the middle of a lecture even if the Catchbox has not left the ETS office.
- The Catchbox does not receive any sound when the Catchbox is moving. There is an accelerometer that would only allow sound to be transmitted when the Catchbox is not in motion.
