This month the world-famous TED conference will be held here in Vancouver for the first time. Tickets have long sold out, but we are pleased to give you the opportunity to experience the talks live.
Beginning on Tuesday, March 18th, Educational Technology Support will be hosting a live webcast of the talks. Please join us at your convenience and learn about ideas worth spreading from an incredible lineup of speakers, including Chris Hadfield, Bill and Melinda Gates, Ray Kurzweil, Gabby Giffords, and dozens more.
The full program guide is available at: http://conferences.ted.com/TED2014/program/guide.php
All of the daytime talks will be streamed live from 8:30am until 1:00pm, so have a look at the program to schedule your week. Highlights from each evening will be shown the following day during the 10:15am – 11:00am break in live programming.
Thank you to the Dean’s Office (especially Aisling!) for helping to organize this exciting event. Please help us spread the word to anyone who might be interested. We hope to see you there.
