A Better Alternate to Skype

Skype may be the go-to solution to hold meetings online, but there is another option! Attend this session to find out how to use the high-end conferencing equipment in Scarfe 308A to connect with people in real time, whether they are using a computer or a video-conference system.

Note: If you are planning to deliver a course online in real time,  Collaborate may be a better tool. Please take a look at the Collaborate workshops, or contact ets.educ@ubc.ca for more information.

At the end of the session, attendees will know:

  • How to use the video conference facility in 308A
  • How to use the BlueJeans Network to connect with people who are on a computer
  • Know where to go if additional support is required (e.g., room booking, equipment support).

Session Information:

  • February 17, 2014, 10:00 – 11:00 AM in Scarfe 308A.
  • This session is open to all Education faculty and staff.
  •  Register here to attend in person.
