What are your main “big picture” responsibilities at LDDI?

I bridge the gap between great teaching ideas and strategies (e.g., tools, technologies, learning activities) that bring them to life. I provide expertise and consultation in planning, developing, assessing, and delivering online and hybrid programs and courses. I build strong relationships with faculty and staff, and collaborate closely with my LDDI colleagues to ensure the successful implementation of innovative teaching practices. Additionally, I support the visualization of learning content to foster more engaging and impactful educational experiences.

What are your specific areas of interest in the field of educational technology or beyond? How is your work at LDDI contributing or playing into those areas of interest?

I am particularly interested in exploring the intersection of digital media technologies, design thinking and learning design. I believe that integrating innovative digital tools with a learner-centered approach could foster more inclusive, innovative and engaging learning experiences.
